Jessica began working at P.La after previously working at prominent local hair salons for 10 years, including the past eight as a stylist. She began her career after graduating from Paul Mitchell the School Michigan and furthered her skills and knowledge in classes and seminars in New York, Miami, Chicago and Denver.

She has done extensive training at the L’Oreal Academy specifically in balayage hair painting techniques and is certified numerous times by Bumble and Bumble NYC in straight-razor cutting. She also is certified in AQUA tape-in-hair extensions and knowledgeable in Halo Couture extensions.

Jessica has provided hair styling for local photoshoots for print and digital advertising as well as for video commercials.

Formerly an art major at Marygrove College in Detroit, she is able to tie her love for art both in the salon and has been able to pursue her passion by being commissioned by several clients for portrait work.

Jessica’s approach as a stylist is to be very open and honest with her clients. She prides herself in listening to her clients and explaining to them why a certain look may not translate to their lifestyle. She is dedicated to help her clients meet their expectations and provide them with hair that looks effortless, lived-in and natural.
