Jessica Johnson
Jessica Johnson has been behind the chair since 2010, but her commitment to evolving her craft never stops. A Metro Detroit native, she graduated from Paul Mitchell before going on to train with some of the best in the industry. Her education includes straight razor certification with Bumble and Bumble in NYC, balayage training with L’Oréal Professionnel in both NYC and Denver, and advanced courses with Oribe in Miami and Chicago. Most notably, she trained under Ahn Co Tran, Milbon’s Global Creative Director, in New York.
Jessica’s work extends far beyond the salon—she’s styled weddings across the country, contributed to commercial and editorial shoots, and has been featured in The Anti Bride blog. Known for her down-to-earth, honest consultations, Jessica makes sure every guest feels completely comfortable, confident, and informed throughout the entire process. Her goal? Underpromise, overdeliver—and maybe share a sandwich and a glass of wine while she works her magic.
She specializes in balayage and straight razor cutting, with a love for creating soft, lived-in looks that reflect each client’s natural texture and tone. Outside the salon, you’ll find her hosting cocktail parties, painting, playing with ceramics, or spending time with her German Shepherd. She’s also got a gift for reading people—and an even better one for impersonating them.
